"Masonic Knights Templar Gauntlet Hammer Door Knocker"

£145.00

"Masonic Knights Templar Gauntlet Hammer Door Knocker"

Solid brass, bearing the emblem of a lone crusader

This commanding brass door knocker bears the image of a lone mounted knight encircled by a cryptic Latin seal — a design rooted in the traditions of Freemasonry and chivalric revival orders of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The solitary horseman evokes the archetype of the knight errant: honour-bound, isolated, and resolute. Around him, a dense flourish of acanthus leaves wraps the escutcheon in movement and strength, while the heavy knocker strikes with both force and poise.

Details

  • Material: Solid brass

  • Height: Approx. 16cm

  • Weight: Substantial; fully functional

  • Style: Masonic / Crusader Revival

  • Mounting: Rear drill-holes present

Relic Notes
Part relic, part rite of passage. Whether interpreted as Masonic, crusader, or knightly in origin, this seal invites speculation and respect. A fine piece for lodge doors, private libraries, or chambers of quiet purpose.
